Are you a hypnotherapist with at least two years of experience? Do you feel it's time to move your business to the next level? Our Affiliate Schools Programme is open to anyone who is registered with a recognised body, such as the GHR or NCH, and who has been practicing for two years (or who is approaching the two years mark). Developing a high-quality training programme can take years. As an affiliate, you'll receive all course materials (free of usual copyright restrictions), PowerPoints, support during the application process, support as you work with students, mentoring, national advertising and training in how to deliver your fully accredited diploma level courses. All of this means you can start up quickly and know that you've got years of experience, from AIM, to back you up should you need it.
This is NOT a franchise
Franchises involve high start up and running costs and, being part of a franchise, means that you have to adhere closely to the parent company's way of doing things. Being an Affiliate School means that, whilst you benefit from materials, advertising & training, you're free to deliver your course in any way that fits with your interests, experience & values. Affiliation is free during the first year & 5% per student following that
Train the Trainer Course
Over the course of three days, live zoom teaching, you'll learn how to deliver a GHSC Accredited Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Cover everything from how to set and mark assignments, to offering student support, to delivering a course which meets National Occupational Standards for hypnotherapy, and which allows for registration with the GHR, NCH and similar levels of professional bodies.

As an Affiliate School, you received EVERYTHING you need to start working with your first cohort of students. You'll have student manuals, client intake forms, PowerPoints and scripts. And you'll be able to use these with your students without the usual copyright restrictions. Instead of taking months, or years, designing your own course, you can have your first course running within weeks of completing your Train the Trainer course.
Becoming an Affiliated School
With the growing success of the Academy of the Inner Mind, and an increased demand for quality, fully accredited hypnotherapy training, I considered how to grow the business in order to meet that demand. One option was to hire more tutors and offer training throughout the country, but it's important for me to be able to personally support my students, along with the help of my wonderful tutor, Deborah Craig. Another option was to franchise AIM. But I firmly believe that, as a trainer, it's important for you to bring your own identity, values and knowledge to training and wasn't comfortable with limiting anyone's freedom through franchising. Offering the chance to become an Affiliated School was the perfect answer, and I hope it's a perfect fit for you, too. You'll benefit from my many years of teaching, you'll be able to access all student materials free from usual copyright restrictions. You'll have my support through the accreditation process and mentoring as you set up your school. And you'll benefit from the ongoing marketing campaign I run which brings in students from all corners of the world.
